Our Vision

Passion for Jesus and His Purposes in the Earth

Antioch in 100 Words

Antioch Community Church Chandler was planted in August 2011 with a vision to help usher revival into the Phoenix Valley — revival that would transform nations through church-planting movements. That vision remains at the center of everything we do. We believe a church surrendered to Jesus and His purposes is the hope of the world, and we desire to see Him glorified above all else. Whether in our own city or across the globe, we are called to live on mission — walking intimately with God, investing intentionally in community, making disciples, and engaging the world around us with the Gospel message.

Who We Are

Our History

Travis and Joy Phillips, along with their team, were sent from an Antioch church in Boston, MA to plant Antioch Tempe in 2011. The initial launch was directed at reaching out to students at ASU. In 2016 the church was invited to adopt Faith Community Church in Chandler and take over leading out at FCC’s church campus in Chandler. Since then the church has grown to become a mix of generations. The heart of the church has always been to lead people into a life-long encounter with Jesus, walk in discipleship and community, and impact the world both near and far. In 2024, Antioch in Chandler planted Antioch Central Phoenix.

How We Do Church

5 Circles
of Church

Our 5 Circles of Church clarify how every person can dynamically participate in relationship with Jesus across the breadth of our church.

A group of people walking along a narrow street in a residential area, with some carrying backpacks and wearing casual clothes. The street is lined with concrete walls and trees, with a few motorcycles and a person riding one visible in the background.

Antioch Chandler is a part of the Antioch International Movement of Churches — a multiplying church-planting movement that seeks to reach the nations of the earth by making disciples that encounter God, disciple others, and live on mission through the local church.
